Our client is operating a large industrial plant where securing the perimeter comes with constant challenges. They had the equipment, but verifying an incident still required significant effort (and wasn’t always efficient).

We developed a module that extends procured drones by using computer vision for localization and tracking. An upgrade in capability without replacing any equipment.

Large-scale infrastructure (logistics hubs, energy sites) can span over kilometers, with multiple access points. Fixed cameras and sensors can provide broad coverage, but don’t always show what’s happening in detail.

A drone can provide the missing aerial perspective, yet once it reaches the area, you face another challenge: how does it find the object that triggered the alert – and keep an eye on it?

We designed a module with a forward-facing camera that solves this problem by extending on-hand drones. The concept is simple: after reaching the area of interest, it analyzes the footage to recognize the trigger.

But here’s what’s important – it goes beyond localization and tracks the object all throughout the inspection.
