Abto Software Arranges Practice for Students in Uzhgorod, Ukraine
February, 2013 — At Abto Software, there are a number of ways how students can get involved in real software development or testing projects. One of them is a practice-based program for the students of Uzhgorod institutes, universities or colleges of higher education which was started on February, 4th, 2013 at Abto Software’s Uzhgorod Development Center.
An overall four-week practice course is arranged and held by the Abto Software’s managers and experienced developers for the students of such faculties as technical and engineering, mathematics, informatics, and physics. The course includes lectures on the most important, useful and interesting technology and methodology topics, like Scrum, Web development & IIS, Rally, Git, C#, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, ASP.NET MVC, SQL, JavaScript, jQuery, Design patterns, Unit & Selenium Testing, TeamCity, Crucible, etc. Moreover, during this practice students have the possibility to get practical experience in web development working together with the Abto Software team on a real project where unique “pure” Scrum methodology is used.
From now on, our company is planning to conduct this kind of program several times per year giving students obtaining IT education a great chance to apply their computer sciences knowledge for custom software development.
